We know that Omaha is home to a bevy of meaningful, well-paying careers that do not require a 4-year or advanced degree. That's why I will advocate for OPS to expand programs & partnerships with community colleges, apprenticeships, vocational, technical, and certificate programs.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion is close to my heart and at OPS it means training ALL teachers to understand the myriad of cultures our students represent. It also means the intentional recruiting of diverse teachers and support staff.
Your tax dollars go to support the largest economic engine in Omaha - education! I will ask the hard questions to make sure your money is being used wisely.
My mission is to advocate for the programs and decisions that will benefit South Omaha students. This means I will actively engage with parents, voters, and community leaders throughout my time as your representative - not just when it's time to ask for your vote.
